Let's Talk about Money, Honey!

Money comes with the wind. As fast as it falls your way, is as fast as its gone.

Well today I went and printed off close to 50 pages to fill out information for adoption grants. Its kind of the same as college grants and scholarships. There are so many websites offering all different types of grants.

Plus there are lots of fun ideas for fundraising for your adoption. One of the ways we are going about it is to have a yard sale. Most everything is free-will donation and we will have poster boards up that talks about our adoption. That way they know exactly what they're money is going towards.

Oh and don't forget the biggest grant of all from the federal government, the adoption tax credit. You can use up to $11,360 towards adoption expenses!

We hate how people tell us we are buying our baby. We aren't. We are paying for counseling for the Birth mom, and prenatal care and delivery for the baby. I will leave you with this Bible passage, that shows money isn't all what its cracked up to be.
