Growing...

Look at this face.
How can you deny that she isn't loved by God.
Look deep into her eyes.
She has seen more than most see in a lifetime.
She amazes me.
Everyday...
Making a scarecrow:
Sometimes you just have to put the paper on your head!

Yohanna went to her yearly check-up.  Boy has she grown!  She is 18 pounds, and 28 inches tall!  She went from the 1 percentile when we came home, to the 15 percentile!  She can now say Mama, she loves to clap her hands, she stands with support, and will walk with a walker.  Unbelievable!
We didn't know if she would ever walk or talk.  And here she is gowing with leaps and bounds. Everyday I love her more.  And constantly thank God for bringing us our little Ethiopian beauty!
Here she is with her "woosha" or "dog" in English!

‎"...orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names.
They are easier to ignore before you see their faces.
It is easier to pretend they're not real
before you hold them in your arms.
But once you do, everything changes."
